Can I get an ejectment order if my tenant stops paying? Yes, under the Punjab Rented Premises Act 2009. You file at Civil Court Lahore and prove non-payment. The court will then order the tenant to quit. If the tenant refuses, you apply for possession through the bailiff. The whole process moves through several court hearings.
What happens if I paid for a Township plot and the seller won't register it? You can file a suit for specific performance under section 12 of the Specific Relief Act 1877 at Civil Court Lahore. The court may order the seller to register the sale. These suits are common in Township and often settle once the seller's legal position becomes risky.
Where do I file for child custody in Township? At the Family Court, Aiwan-e-Adal. The court applies the principle of the child's best interests, guided by Pakistani statute and Islamic law. Children under 7 usually stay with the mother; older children may choose. The case is heard in camera (private).
